There are Grating manufacturers all over the world. This material exists for more than 50 years under the plaque form and it is used, in most of the cases. as non-slip floor in machine access platforms and in technical building zones such as: industries, pavilions, shopping malls among others. At Cobermaster we had the will to transform grating into a premium material ready to apply in areas such as architecture and interior design. For that this material would have to be adaptable to a much more demanding environment from an aesthetic point of view. Our R&D team, worked during 3 years on the development of grating manufacturing processes in three dimensional shapes and new finishes to allow the final product to have a premium quality. As a result of our investment, we developed two distinct processes of 3D grating manufacturing.
Gradil 3D Cobermaster with welding

There are many applications of grating in building facades, however untill now it was only possible to apply grating in the plaque form, and that would restrict its application in buildings with rectilinear and more conservative configurations. The 3D Cobermaster Grating revolutionizes the facade concept since it can assume all kinds of formats in 2 or 3 dimensions. Curved buildings, with concavities and convexities can be covered by 3D Cobermaster Grating facades, keeping the original architectural aspect. Our system is applied in the same way that are other materials used in ventilation facades. Metallic profiles are used as fastening elements, screwed to the building walls. Grating panels are then applied on the metallic profiles, with predefined sequences in order to obtain the desired final purpose. The grating fixa tion on the metallic profile is made with self-tapping screws or with snap fasteners depending on each and every project. Grating is already used in outdoor and indoor fences for some years, however, whenever round countour fences are needed, the traditional grating can’ t adapt in a perfect way. With the 3D Cobermaster Grating, this problem no longer exists since we can produce the grating with a curvature exactly equal to the one in the countour to close. Our modular system is very easy to assemble. For cotation we only need the blueprint with indication of the perimeter to fence and respective dimensions.

Wine cellar solutions
Using our modular manufacturing system, we are able to create small or big Wine Racks to apply in restaurants, hotels, stores and cellars. We supply the full kit with all the necessary accessories for mounting and fixing the Wine Rack structure. Upon request, we can also present a proposal to perform the full, turnkey assembly. The client has the freedom to define the dimensions, bottle quantity and the colour pretended for the Wine Rack.
